What’s Hot
Cajun Vacation
Had enough of winter and headed south in late March. Louisiana is a great place and
like the license place says it is a Sportsmans Paradise. My first stop was Houma to catch a few fish.
Thanks to Capt. Marty LaCoste of Absolute Fishing Charters I caught a bunch of speckled trout,
sheepshead and redfish.
Next my wife Barb and I headed for Pierre Part, Louisiana and rented a cabin in the swamp.
Along with the gators, I found out the bayous are loaded with largemouth bass, crappie and bluegill.
Speaking of gators, spent some time talking to Troy Landry from Swamp People and met some
of his family. Great people, great food, great fishing and a great vacation. I will return next winter!
